Bear bar on Schönhauser Allee in Prenzlauer Berg, drawing a loyal crowd of bears and their admirers. One of the few dedicated bear spots in the city outside of Motzstraße.
Bärenhöhle — 'bear cave' — does exactly what the name says: it's a no-frills neighbourhood bar built around the bear crowd in a part of Berlin that doesn't have much else like it. Open six nights a week from 18h, closed Sundays. The Prenzlauer Berg location puts it well away from the Schöneberg cluster, giving it a more local, regular-crowd feel than the tourist-facing bars further south.
