Spartan

Operating since 1982 out of a converted terraced house in Erdington, about 15 minutes from the city centre, Spartan is Birmingham's longest-running men's sauna. Facilities run to a sauna, steam room, small gym, private cabins, two TV lounges, sunbed, and a café. Entry is £10 cash only, and the café prices follow the same logic. Attendance can be hit and miss on quieter days, which is worth knowing before making the trip.
