U Rudolfa isn't trying to impress anyone, and that's exactly the point. Three small rooms, Czech pub décor on the walls, a jukebox that leans heavily on local hits, and Pilsner at prices that make you want to stay longer than planned. It's the oldest continuously running gay bar in Prague — which means it predates the scene that's grown up around it, and it still feels that way. You're more likely to end up singing ABBA with a table of Czech regulars than dancing on anything. Bears, older locals, and the odd curious tourist who wandered off the tourist trail. A proper neighbourhood pub that just happens to be gay.
